Biography

Daniel was born in 1856. He was the son of Benjamin Vankoughnet and Mary Vallier. He lived with his parents and siblings in Loughborough, Frontenac, Canada West in 1861.[1] By 1871, they had moved to and were living in Parry Sound, Ontario.[2]

Daniel married Caroline Cargill on 3 Dec 1872 in Foley, Parry Sound, Ontario.[3] They had eleven children. They lived in Muskoka and Parry Sound, Ontario in 1901.[4]

Daniel passed away in 1909 from typhoid fever.[5]
